Installation instructions
Hauptwerk 1 version
The sample set is distributed on a set of 3 CD-ROMs. Insert the 1st CD into
your CD-ROM drive and run the .exe installer. Choose the destination drive on
your harddrive and the necessary files will be copied from the installation
media to this location. When prompted, change the CD-ROM in the drive for the #2
and then for the #3. After this, the sample set is ready for use. To load it
into Hauptwerk (eventually MyOrgan or any similar program) please, run Hauptwerk and
launch the organ definition file from the location you specified during the
installation procedure.
Hauptwerk 3 version
This sample set is ready for use with Hauptwerk 2 or
Hauptwerk 3 software only! You have to have Hauptwerk installed and functional before you can use this
sample set.
When the DVD installation media arrives to you, insert it into the DVD drive.
Then, run Hauptwerk and from the file menu choose the install feature. Navigate
to the DVD drive and select the first installation package found on the DVD.
Hauptwerk takes care for the rest of the installation process. Please, repeat
this procedure for EVERY installation package found on the DVD!!! It is
not enough to install just one installation package. ALL the installation
packages present on the DVD have to be installed prior to loading the sample
set. Failing to install one of the installation packages will result in an
organ-loading error.
This version is completely "stand alone" it does not have anything in common
with the Hauptwerk 1 version, so you can have both versions installed separately
and use them together. It is not necessary to uninstall the Hauptwerk 1 version
of the sample set before installing Hauptwerk 3 version.
